Pilates Schedule & Information

Pilates Methodology

Pilates is a methodical series of functional exercises most often performed on your back, stomach or supported in space with special equipment like a reformer.  The purpose of all Pilates exercises is to decompress the spine while strengthening multiple groups of muscles closest to your skeletal system.  By making the intrinsic muscles stronger, your body will become progressively more efficient and flexible.  Pilates helps people of all ages achieve strong posture, muscle balance and core strength.  ReVibe offers certified and insured mat and equipment classes six days a week.

More about Private Equipment Classes:

  • Privates are designed to work with your needs by making an assessment of your posture, strengths and weakness.  Also, taking privates is a prerequisite for group classes.  If you’ve never taken Pilates equipment classes before, please sign-up for our introductory private package.

More about Semi-Private Equipment Classes:

  • Semi-privates are available for many options: friends, couples or even a parent and child.  This class has only two participants.

More about Group Equipment Classes:

  • A minimum of three participants are required; therefore, it is at ReVibe’s discretion to reschedule a class containing less than three.
  • Level 1: This class will expand on the Intro class by deepening the fundamental exercises and principles.  The focus will be to master alignment, breathing as well as overall stability and strength.  Expect to take at least 24 classes before moving to Level 2.  A minimum of three participants are required.
  • Level 2: A mixed level class.  When you’re strong in the abdominals and you’re ready for additional exercises and core challenges you can progress to level two. Permission from your instructor is required to progress to this level.  This mixed level class provides you the option to perform more advanced exercises while continuing to focus on the fundamentals from level one.
  • Level 3: Intermediate/advanced class.  This is a fast paced class requiring you to have a thorough understanding of pelvic, shoulder and neck stabilization as well as the ability to maintain stability while moving through increasingly challenging exercises.  Instructor’s permission as well as one year’s practice at level two is required to advance to this level.
Mat Class Schedule:
  • Monday: Mixed Level with Swiss Ball @ 5:45pm
  • Tuesday: Back to Basics @ 5:45pm
  • Wednesday: Mixed Level @ 5:45pm
  • Thursday: Advanced with Props @ 5:45pm
