Well, that was quite a hiatus due to moving studios, painting the old ones and just simply getting settled in. I admit we’re not 100% settled in, more like 80% of the way there. There’s nothing stopping me though, the new building is so much more comfortable and inviting. All the amenities are run-of-the-mill, such as air conditioning and a shower. I realized now that for the past 3 1/2 years we didn’t have those things that we normally take for granted. Don’t get me wrong Vermijo (old location) was an awesome start and it was our vitality and happiness that made that building work. Now, it’s the other way around-we can join forces with our building to be happy and make our clients happy.
I wanted to mention our neighbors, Spectrum Powder Works. Mark & Liz came to us about our new location, extolling it’s virtues and telling us what a great fit the space might be for us. Obviously, we agreed. What can Spectrum provide you with? Powder coating. It is Uhmazing and creates a unique aesthetically pleasing finish to any metal. Such as bicycles. Chances are that you have one. Their attention to detail and quality are unmatched in Colorado Springs and beyond. They are some of the nicest people around too.
